Started in the Summer of 2015, Holbirt has grown its product range through the experiences of Co-Founders, Harriet and Ann.
Holbirt is a movement for exploring and discovering our natural surroundings through illustration, art and creativity.
From our beautiful studio in the Mendips, we create products that connect our clients with the emotional and sensorial landscapes of both coast and country. Many of our clients buy our designs because they provoke memories, inspire and, simply, just look great in the home.
We assure our customers that every finished product is completely made in house. We have full control of our process, from hand drawn design to print, to the finished item. This means that we can keep full traceability of our final product, manage quality levels and be totally customer orientated.
We live for the outdoors and care about the environment.
Life is our inspiration only by living it can we create it.
The paper we choose is nearly always fully recyclable, biodegradable and FSC certified, meaning that it is made with, or contains, pulp from well-managed forests. We choose to only use quality materials, this goes for our packaging as well. Our packing tape is biodegradable and 100% plastic free, our postal tubes are made from recycled fibreboard. So where we can we will never use plastic.
We print all our prints in house making sure everything is in perfect and pristine condition before sending it out to our lovely customers
Who we are.
Harriet with a combined desire to explore her creative urges further and having the coast and countryside on her doorstep, Harriet started to turn the inspiration she finds in these environments into hand drawn illustration and homeware for people to enjoy.
Ann brings her management and entrepreneurial expertise to the development of the company. An avid cyclist, walker and sailor, Ann shares Harriet’s love of the coast and countryside and works closely with her on product development, sustainability and writing about the story behind the product.
